At PNC, we recognize that tomorrow's leaders are today's students and graduates. We feel it's important to offer internship opportunities throughout our company that provide emerging young professionals with the exposure and experiences needed to begin considering professional career paths after graduation.
We are seeking driven candidates who are dedicated to supporting our growing business needs in a variety of geographical locations.
The 10-week summer internship program presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to PNC’s businesses and culture. As an intern, you will be placed within one of our business areas where you will have the chance to develop knowledge and key skills necessary to succeed, as well as grow professionally through:
Online and in-person training that supports new learning, strengthens your core skill sets and provides you with a solid foundation for your internship.
Exposure to Our Business
Gain extensive exposure to the specific area of business where you are placed and how various business areas interact across the bank.
Each intern is assigned a Peer Mentor to provide insight into transitioning from college into a professional workplace, career paths and guidance on navigating the organization.
Regular evaluations are conducted by your manager in order to communicate progress, identify strengths, note opportunities for improvement and talk through feedback and any potential next steps.
The speaker series has events periodically throughout the internship to allow interns to hear from senior representatives discussing topics like innovation in banking, benefits and money management.
A two-day event at our Pittsburgh headquarters that brings all interns from across our markets together. Interns will hear from PNC's leadership team, make connections with other interns and participate in development activities.

“Internships at PNC are as meaningful to our company as they are to the interns. They are not only great opportunities to leverage classroom knowledge in a professional environment, but also bring bright and unfiltered ideas to our table. These ideas enable us to think differently and be stronger as a company.”

“As an intern, there is wisdom to be gained but you have to take control of the experience yourself. Ask questions, be open to opportunities, take the initiative, work hard and you will succeed.” - Kelly Rudzik
