Business Sweep Checking
Increase your returns on idle cash balances and make your money work for you.

Ensure daily liquidity and enjoy immediate access to investment balances.

  • links your checking account to an FDIC-insured PNC Bank money market deposit account
  • Establish a maximum and minimum target balance in your checking account
  • balances above your pre-determined maximum target balance are swept into your money market deposit account
  • "Sweep" system puts funds into money market account or checking account according to rules you set

Three accounts for you to choose from based on your transaction activity level and anticipated balances:

Business Interest Checking

  • No monthly maintenance fee with an average monthly collected balance of $5,000
  • Interest is earned on account balances

Analysis Business Checking with Interest

  • For businesses dealing with high transaction volumes, substantial balances or multiple checking accounts
  • Interest is earned on account balances.

Corporate Analysis Checking with Interest

  • For businesses with high transaction volumes, substantial balances and complex cash management needs.
  • Earnings Credit is applied to reduce or offset monthly fees.
  • Account balances in excess of the balance needed to offset fees will earn interest.

Interest On Lawyers Trust Accounts (IOLTAs)
Limited to attorneys and law firms that maintain escrow funds for multiple clients.

An IOLTA pools the funds into a single, interest bearing account.

Interest earned, less any permitted service fees, is forwarded by PNC Bank to the state IOLTA board to fund legal expenses for those who are unable to afford legal services, and other justice related projects of the board.

IOLTA accounts come with:

  • No minimum balance and no monthly maintenance fee
  • Unlimited monthly transactions
  • Detailed monthly statement
  • Interest earned on the entire account balance
